Greece to screen ‘The Residents of the Villas’

The Greece cinemas are scheduled to screen ‘The Residents of the Villas’.

The film directed by Monir Qeidi will be screened in Greece during the Iranian Cinema week, Iranflix.

Commemorating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Iranian Cinema week will host a lineup of Iranian movies.

Produced by Saeed Malekan, tells the story of the women who sacrificed everything to be with their loved ones during the war waged on Iran by Iraq during the 1980s.

Sorayya Qasemi, Saber Abar, Anahita Afshar, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Parinaz Izadyar, Giti Qasemi, and Ali Shadman are on the cast list of the movie.

‘The Residents of the Villas’ won the awards for the best supporting actress, best visual effects, and best first-film director at the 35th Fajr Film Festival, as well as several nominations and awards at other Iranian galas.

"The IranFlix platform is a non-profit platform for lovers of quality Iranian cinema,” the official website of the event wrote.

This year’s edition of the festival is scheduled for February 1-11.
